Parish account

The parish account: access and participation

Parish account

4 September 2026

The parish account helps clergy and authorised parish representatives, including members of the Parish Charitable Committee, participate in the Fund’s work. Once access is approved, they can edit the public profile and its language versions, obtain permanent links and QR codes, review donations and statistics, and use available materials and support.

These tools serve personal communication with parishioners. The purpose is to help every family understand voluntary monthly care for clergy, their wives and children and establish regular support within their means. Each user has a personal login and assigned access permissions.

Donations

QR codes: from an announcement to a gift

Parish QR codes and links

8 September 2026

A permanent parish link and QR codes help parishioners open the donation form without registering. The account provides separate links and codes for the languages selected for parish materials. These can be prepared for websites, notices and print, while observing any account warnings about readiness for distribution.

The purpose is not simply a one-off scan, but small, voluntary monthly participation. The form lets donors choose a currency, amount and monthly or one-off gift. All funds go to the Clergy Assistance Fund for support throughout the Diocese; the parish link helps your community take part and see its participation. Where a test-mode notice is shown, no real money is charged.

Donations

Donations can now be made in different currencies

Donation form with multiple currencies

Our Diocese’s parishes are in different countries. The donation form offers euros, pounds sterling and Swiss francs for monthly or one-off support. Choosing a currency makes participation more convenient, while regular small gifts help build a sustainable basis for caring for clergy and families.

The original amount is kept in the donation’s currency. Statistics may convert amounts from different currencies approximately, without changing the donation record. While the form is marked as a test, no real money is charged.

Assistance

An online form for initial assistance enquiries

Online assistance request form

16 September 2026

An initial enquiry form is available for clergy of the Diocese and their families. Use it to provide contact details and briefly describe the assistance needed. Do not include medical documents, bank details or unnecessary information about other people in the first message.

The appeal to Parish Councils sets out the initial procedure: rectors send applications to their deans, who submit them to the Fund Council. The online form is an additional way to contact the Fund, not a replacement for this procedure. Next steps are clarified through communication.

Privacy options determine whether a notice appears in the parish account. They do not mean assistance is automatically awarded or remove consent requirements for sharing personal information.

Diocesan meeting

Final preparations for the Fund discussed

17 September 2026

On 17 September 2026, diocesan priests and deacons met online under Bishop Irenei to discuss final preparations for launching the Fund in parishes. The diocesan account emphasises lasting care for clergy and families through small, voluntary monthly contributions. Read the report on the diocesan website.

Openness and personal dignity

The official appeal provides for transparent reporting on income and the use of funds. Families’ private circumstances do not become public. Website summary figures and illustrative overviews must be distinguished from approved financial reports.
